Rana Gruber is a listed and profitable mining- and recovery company in Rana municipality.

The company has mines at Storforshei, and recovery works and quay facilities in Gullsmedvik in Mo i Rana. Rana Gruber’s production is mainly exported to European customers.

Rana Gruber has around 300 employees and an annual production capacity of 1.8 million tonnes of iron ore concentrates. The ore is transported between Storforshei and Mo i Rana by rail. The head office is located in Mo i Rana – a prime location in the heart of Norway.

Worth to mention, Rana Gruber has among the industry’s lowest carbon emissions, and aims to become the world’s first carbon-free iron ore mine by the end of 2025.
